Cushier suspension, more features, and they look (plus no manual tranny).

That said, it should be plenty capable for what you seem to need. If you're checking out other brands, don't leave out the possibility of a 4Runner. WJ's are pretty nice, but they aren't very reliable and have unibody (like the pahty).
