I drive through Houston 290 to 610 to 10 every other weekend. Does that count?

Although I currently work in College Station, you can find me usually on the Beltway 8... anywhere between 290 in the northwest to Hwy 59 in the Southwest. I'm usually in the Stafford/Sugar Land area on weekends with my fiancee... By the end of July, I will be moving to the Med Ctr, so I'll also be in the 610 Kirby area around Reliant Stadium/Astroworld... I'm the only mineralblue that I know of rolling around with Kentucky plates, Texas A&M/4X4Offroad decals, and a Yakima Loadwarrior... ![[Wave]](graemlins/wave.gif)

[/b]Or the moderator can do it for you! I also go to the Houston (actually Rosenberg area) a number of times a year. Don't always bring the X now days, since the newest vehicle is now the wife's odessy, so we take that now as a family.

The target market was supposed to be young active people who would strap kayaks and bikes to the top of it and take it out into the wilderness. Instead, these women buy them because they're "cute" and take them to the mall. I'm sure it's the same feeling real Harley guys get when they see yet another yuppie dentist unloading his bike from a trailer at Sturgis... polluting and watering down their "thing". EDIT: now, if it's a young-ish (keep in mind I'm almost 30 now - so that definition is fairly broad) girl with a bike strapped to the top and an ARB bumper.... HOT MAMA!!!! completely different story.

I've inquired in the past... but I've never been... I was a graduate student at A&M, then I graduated and then I worked in CS for a year at A&M... and now I'm about to move to Houston to go back to school... There's actually several of us XOCers in College Station... we tried to get together in the past, but we've never actually gotten together... http://www.xterraownersclub.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=000850#000000 ![[Wave]](graemlins/wave.gif)
