yeesh. I can't help ya (too far away and no winch) - but hopefully someone will. Good luck.

ETA: I posted up on the texas nissan trucks board for ya. TNT doesn't have a lot of active SA members tho

ETA ETA: You did a LOT of things wrong to get yourself in this position - and you might get some callous responses for it - but hopefully someone will take pity on you and help you out and save the berating for later wink

Man sorry to get to this so late. Hope you got it out. That's not a good place to be. It's pretty much off limits to due SA Parks officers patrolling it.

Ironically I just said to Handbrake that Tuesday would've been a perfect day to go out there. To cold for those guys. But it's a long way over there from home.

Next time post up what's going on and maybe I'll make it.

Just saw your latest post. So is the X still out there?!?
Oh yeah, that's some goey mud out there in case you didn't notice.

Why not head back there with a bunch of firewood and start feeding that under the tires?

i would get some lumber and go put it under the wheels, or get someones with a towstrap and power and pull you out.

You'd have to jack the vehicle up to get very far with that route. Rock sliders and a Hi Lift jack would go a long way. What he really needs is someone with a winch - and possibly a snatch block and tree saver strap.

I have a winch but very much doubt I could get out there until the weekend. Even then I'd be nervous. The park cops will be out patrolling again.

Man that sucks. Will the park police get it impounded or just ticket it?

Hope that you can get it out of there soon.

They'll probably just start with a ticket. If they need to have it towed themselves the owner will be backcharged. Cha-ching!

I GOT IT OUT TODAY!!!!! THANKS ANYWAY GUYS I APPRECIATE IT!!!!

Okay today 3 of my friends and me went with shovels, hatchets and began digging and jacked up the X and shoved branches under the tires. Which the main thing that helped is my 3 friends pushing....

Thanks for all the help.

Good deal. Hopefully, nobody messed with it while it was still there. I assume not, since you didn't mention any vandalism.

Hopefully, lessons learned? I know I learned several the first time I got my 4x2 stuck.

Glad to hear that... If you like it off road than you need to join our club. We actually have 2WD's along on a lot of runs. You can park it and ride shotgun if you want / need to try the harder trails but the 2WD does OK and with others and winches around you are safe smile

Glad you got it out. Especially with no vandalism! Guess it was too cold for the lil monsters.

X2 Roger!

Next time you get a hankering post up. We'll see what we can setup. Not too many legal locations to get dirty.

Gilly I'm not grinding on ya but another good lesson is "if you're not capable of self-extraction, go with a buddy that can save you".

It's all good and shiny. [Smoking]
