I've just recently been anointed in the X-owners club by purchasing an '03 2wd SE. I would love to join sometime on your offroad adventure. I'm not Sure if I can make Barnwell, but I'll try if I have it back in time (I wrecked it Friday after owning it for a week with only 482 miles on it )
I'm in Houston, so if there are anyother Housterrans out there, let me know!
I may drive my rentaheap up and meet with everyone anyhow. I'm sure someone might have an empty passenger seat for the good rides.
