D'OH! I can't believe I forgot to post about this here...

If any of you SA/Austin guys want to come out we've got a little thing going on at Katemcy this weekend (Mason, TX).

People will show up throughout the day today - I expect to get there around 11 or 12pm tonight.

Glen

Wow! Katemcy makes the internet... I drive through that area, on my way to Brady (in-laws). Looks like it would be some fun... given the right toys.

Look at the grill. It has the Jeep "rhino" grill.

Prob'ly a Jeep pickup from a military surplus . . .

If you have the bandwidth and want to see a larger picture of this truck try My pics on page 4 there's a couple of closer up pictures of the truck from the side and back. If you click on the 3504x2336 link you'll get a much larger picture.

Roger,

I have been doing alright, graduated in may and have currently been living back at home with the parents mad The job search has been nothing but a dead end and it doesnt seem that having a degree does anything for anyone anymore, its all just about who you know or if the recruiter seems to like you. I think I will be looking into graduate school and or working for a teaching degree. Not what I want to do, but at the time im not left with to many choices.

On another note, I think I might be back in the game pretty soon, not to sure if I will be wheeling, but I will be back in a Nissan. Looking a the 4x4 SE Armadas, just to be different, let alone for what you get the price cant be beat. As with the X it wont stay stock, already looking into the 6" fabtech lift, 3" body, 37" MTRs, on either 20's or 22's, not sure which yet. Black on black of course wink

The Z has been nothing but a nightmare. Two wrecks, neither my fault, just isnt the same now. Finally got it out of the shop a week ago from the second wreck and its going back tomorrow because now the windows wont roll back up. Rear end has been replaced twice, and we have a feeling its about to go back for a third time. 54k miles on it and the plan is to let it go before 60k. Goodbye, farewell, thank god!

Oh and I give it another month before Chia ends up destroying his new X [Finger]

Actually Kev he's already done some damage to it.

That sounds like the Z has been nothing but trouble. Time to wheel it! We might be able to get it across the creek-crossing at Cline's. laugh

:
I just got a job with an oil company called pride. They are sending me all over the place to train for management type stuff (going to france for 9 weeks on saturday), but i have to work my way up from the bottom. it will take about 2 1/2 years before i am actually in the management position. It is called their rapid advancement training program.
I am 25 and just got my degree also. If you are willing to travel and a hardworker (not afraid to work on a drilling rig for a couple of years) then you should look them up. Almost all oil companies are desperate right now.
