I searched Bayckyard mechanics but did not get a good answer. I changed oil this weekend and discovered a torn CV boot. Driver side at engine side.

Should I replace the entire CV or just the boot? Has anyone replaced just the boot? I already have a spare used CV but like having it for the trail.

I need to do whichever this weekend as I am going to Oklahoma for the Memorial day ride.
