Blame your browser, not the site. The link hasn't changed, so your browser displays it in the visited link color. The link color was less of an issue for posts, since the new post indicator exists than it was for links within the posts, that you might not have been able to tell were hyperlinks without mousing over.
The change works perfect, and corrects the previous problem.
