Okay. You've established that Islam is an evil religion. You've established that all muslims are fanatical adherents to an evil religion. So the next question is...what's the end game?
How do you stamp out an ideology? Is it even possible to stem the legislation of culture by counter-legislation? And what would need to be enacted? A series of laws barring muslims from the political process? Renovate existing immigration laws to exclude muslims?
Are we talking about re-vamping laws at all? Or are we talking about Manzanar getting a fresh coat of paint?
What are we talking about?[/b]You're trolling as usual, but I'll bite anyways.
I don't think we need more laws. We just need to ensure we hang on to the ideal that this is a free country, and it should not turn into a nanny state like most in Western Europe already have. As a citizenry, we need to pull back a bit on multiculturalism at all costs and hang on to the culture that is uniquely American. Don't stand for the bullshit like Madman cited in Michigan with prayer calls over public address systems. That's not separation of church and state.
So next you'll argue that the Christian right is no better. I contend it is. It was that same Christian right that founded this country, and then granted freedom of religion, provided it does not interfere with affairs of state. ALL muslim countries are incapable of this and govern under some variation of islamic law. Your beloved Iran is a good example of that. A non-muslim wouldn't be terribly comfortable there. Would you not want to feel welcome in your own country based on your religious beliefs? Let them fill our borders and then refuse to acclimate as American citizens with a love of freedom and tolerance of others, and that's exactly what will happen here in another couple generations. And we'll welcome it with open arms because of this insane notion of politically correct multiculturalism until we all wake up one day and say, "WTF?"
That same religious right, and the moderate right - half of the country's population, is the only thing keeping the US from becoming the next nanny state.
