The guy whose dog was threatened was a "student teacher." He was a student with almost enough credits to graduate, and he was getting them by teaching for a semester.

OH... the other thing the local Minneapolis Star Tribune and the local news crews are doing, is omitting the racial description for perpetrators of crimes since it might cause discrimination against others of that race. So... if a guy of a certain race were to rape a woman, the news would give out height and weight and other descriptive details, but not race. Nice, eh?[/b]
The Atlanta paper tried that same crap. They were immediately called on it and dropped it. Among the reasons was that it's kind of tough for citizens to be on the lookout for criminals if they don't know their race. :rolleyes:
