so have they just gotten rid of the Liberty, and slapped it's name plate onto the extremely poor-selling Patriot? Sure looks like it.

I believe the Liberty still has the low range, etc., that it had before. Can't say as I like the way it looks much, but it isn't any worse than the cutesy predecessor.

It's online somewhere, I saw it the other day. Specs: 540hp, Suspension full out race with a hint of streetability, only 1000 being made, $10-12,000 over the GT500 sticker so estimates are around $55,000 sticker All the engine and suspension mods are available from Ford SVT for all GT500's and GT's. All the engine and suspension mods are available from Ford SVT for all GT500's and GT's. Thanks Todd. I saw the "concept drawings" on Stangnet.com, other forums. Just wondering if anyone snapped a pic of the actual car at the show. The buzz around the stang boards is that the GT500KR after dealer markups will be close to $100k. Especially since the GT500's were around $75k after dealer price gouging. Even the Shelby GT's were ridiculously marked up by the dealer. I hope people get smart and refuse to buy these marked up cars so the dealers will come back to reality. Unfortunately the GT500KR WILL sell for the insane numbers due to the limited to 1000 cars. The Parneli Jones mustangs are insanely priced as well with only 500 of those floating around. Thanks.

That is a bad looking Mustang. They have came a long way from the 1993 return of the SVT Cobra. I think it had 240 horse.

That Flex thing looks like a 'Pimp My Ride' starter kit. Now this looks way cool - like it came straight out of a gangster movie.

I love my daily driver 06 convertible. Truck is for wheeling, beach and winter.

Am picking up a new DD myself this weekend...a 2000 Camaro Z28 with the LS1. Low miles and less than half the price of anything new that could touch it.
That retro Holden is COOOOL!
that liberty looks about the same as the current model with an updated fascia. Are you sure it's IRS? I know the Patriot is....but didn't think the liberty was going that direction.

That's a pretty impressive leap in design for a Holden!! To me Holden's have always been synonymous in design with that of a Pontiac. It's a car that's somewhere between sporty and conservative (with the exception that pos Solstice).

I remember seeing the Monaro while I lived down under, and when I came home I saw it rebadged as a GTO. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Holden line come here. They're really cool!
