You think "global warming" means it's going to be hot everywhere all the time? That's a common misunderstanding. Climate (long-term patterns) and weather (current conditions at a specific location) are two different things. As the climate changes, weather patterns change also, so in essence the climate is "cause" and weather is "effect."

As other posters have written, global warming is occurring, and as I said in my earlier post, the issue is whether man is responsible and the use of warming as a political agenda.

I agree completely with those who say a double-standard exists for the U.S. vs. other countries. When I visited Bangkok, the air was so foul that the traffic cops on the corner wore surgical masks.
