So I need some help from someone in the NY or NJ area. A particular brew of Absinthe is now legal in the US, but the company importing it is small and has a very limited distribution area, for now. It'll probably take years before it gets to Kentucky...

Is there anyone in the NY or NJ area that can pick up a bottle of Lucid and ship it to me? I'll pay the price of the bottle, shipping, and an extra $20 for your efforts.

Go to www.drinklucid.com to find stores in the states that carry it.

Thanks!!

There seems to be a number of liquor stores in Manhattan that sell this product.

Many of them appear to have web sites and they may ship it to you.

Have you given any of them a call?

Unfortunately, it's against KY state law for an outside retail/commercial establishment to ship alcohol into KY. Individuals are allowed, but not companies.

It's retarded, but the only way around it is to get a friendly New Yorker or someone else to ship it to me.

But thanks, though!

They're shipping it, no problems. Should be here by Friday. I'm having it shipped to work 'cause I want to make sure I get it in-hand and not my neighbors... Shipping was only $12 or so; not too bad I thought.

And for those that don't know what Absinthe is...

there never was any hallucinogenic ingrediants. It's just a different kind of drunk, in that your mind doesn't feel all that drunk, but the rest of your body does...

I know this, now... I had a good night last night. My bottle came in yesterday. Woohoo!
