Was wondering how to keep my white lettering on my tires clean. Any suggestions?

Usually you can get a tire cleaner/shining spray which should clean them.

A couple things to note, try and not get it on the paint. Sometimes it can discolor it. Also, when I used that stuff before it left a spray mark on the driveway that seems permanant.

I've used this stuff before and it seemed to work pretty well, Armor AllŪ Tire FoamŪ Protectant

White wall cleaner.
similar to this:

Just make sure you spray it on the letters only, and use a brush (toothbrush?) to get them dirt free. Also don't let it sit, spray it on, brush them clean, and rinse, if you let it sit you will get a haze on the black part of the tires.

Or, for a non-toxic but still highly effective alternative, use Simple Green at full strength along with a tire brush. See?

Also, Meguiar's tire dressing won't turn the letters beige as many others will.

Just used some Westley's Bleche-Wite, and it works quite well! I did, however, notice that it left some residue on the paint of the X after I had hosed down the tires. The residue did wash off, but make sure you do the lettering before you wash it.

Thanks for the suggestion, guys--looks great!

i use the Eagle One wheel cleaner. spary it on and let it sit for about 20 seconds till it turns brown/orange color and scrub it good. i have a siding brush that i use that has stiff bristles and scrub them good and then hose it off real good then wash them by hand again cause it will stain the tires if you dont get it off real good. and this stuff also stains the driveway, but not as much as the tire shine spray. i use it on my bikes to to clean off the brake dust on the chrome wheels and spokes. does a great job with a spoke brush. when i wash my vehicles, i spend the most time on the wheels.

A good old fashion BRILLO pad works wonders, the kind with soap in it. Cheap too... One will last ages. Buy a pack of six and you will wear out your tires before using them up.

Mount the tires with the white lettering inboard and they'll never look dirty. laugh
