Of course there's the real step 1, washing the car.
The 3 steps above are all application/removal steps.
When you find the Meguiar's products in your local store, you'll see they're labeled with Step 1-3 on the bottle. Someone on here brought my attention to
www.meguiars.com: do their Paint Care Prescription, and they'll recommend products for you. It's kinda cool.
