I just finished installing my fake wood grain kit... Some parts look fabulous... others look stupid. I admit it would look a whole lot better if I didnt have the desert interior.... I am probably going to take out all the pieces that dont look good and leave in the rest!!
LOVE IT
HATE IT I also didnt install one piece (last picture) because I have to remove the rocker switch to make it fit (gonna do that tonight), but the switch will fit back in after i put the wood grain on.

Kinda hard to tell.. Been wondering how one of those kits would look in real life. Like XPLORx4 said, looks like granite.
From a design standpoint, wood grain from the factory typically stays in one area, usually in a line spanning the front console and following the center console to the shifter. When you pick out the parts that don't fit in I'd keep that in mind and use the trim to spice it up, not cover the whole interior up..

Not my cup of tea but when i was looking an X i was looking at had a carbon fiber package that was done really well (me thinks oem) and had a nissan logo stamped on them. I did the carfax and it was a nissan corp demo for a while. Damn i wish i could find that kit, It was dash trim, radio trim, door panels. Looked nice really.

Mine has a dark wood look that is coming lose in places-due to the adhesive melting. What kind of adhesive came with the kit, parts house recomm. rubber cement-keeps melting lose. Hot in Houston.
