As far as which wax to use, I would suggest that you use the search feature above and search for "wax" in the Appearance forum only. I'm pretty sure that there have been many discussions on this very topic that you might be interested in.

Personally, I use a wash and wax mixture every week made by Turtle Wax called ZipWax Extreme Wash and it works to my satisfaction (and I kill two birds with one stone with wash and wax together).
