Does a body lift void the warranty on a new Xterra?
I'm sure a suspension lift will, but I was unsure on the body lift.

Only if the body lift if the direct cause of the problem. Otherwise no. Same goes for suspension lift. If your air conditioner stop working they can't say they won't fix it because of your suspension lift. But if you but a tie rod adjuster then it was probably caused by the lift and then it would not be warrantied. Check out THIS

The mod has to be PROVEN to cause the failure of a covered part...

If you replace the shocks, and one breaks, OK, it wasn't covered by Nissan...but other than stuff like that, X mods are pretty bullet proof compared to some...and hey, you could always put the factory part you removed back on, like the warrenty would do anyway.

man if i were u, i would save up and get a nice suspension lift if you havn't already done that.
But do u what u want. A body lift would only void if something got messed up cause of the lift. For example, they could blame your Air condition from failing cause of the body lift. If u have drive shaft problems then u would have to pay for it. Also, i am under warranty to and i want a suspension lift, Go in and talk to the manager and your dealership about your waranty to see wats up. GOOD LUCK!!
