When it comes to fishing stuff nothing is worse than the stench from a pair of tennis shoes after an evening of giant squid fishing. Actually just getting in a vehicle after that can leave a stink that won’t go away. When I went fishing for the smaller verity of giant squid 10 to 20 pounds the ride home even with the seats covered with plastic got enough of that stuff in there to stink bad after a few days. If you have had the pleasure of smelling squid after its been out of the water a few days you know what I’m talking about. Took a week blasting with ozium to get rid of the smell but every time it would rain it would come back with a vengeance. Thankfully I didn't do that when I owned my xterra. When I went last april for the humbolt giant squid I made sure to use my rubber lined open top MG and allowed my friend to use his truck to haul the squid back. Turned out to be a good thing as we brought back about 300 pounds of squid. Adds up quick when they weigh between 30 and 50 pounds a peice
