Hi - I'm new to the club...1st time post.
Question - I recently bought a 2002 Xterra SE, black with 75,000 miles. I have some paint problems with certain areas showing quater sized surface rust but my MAJOR concern is right above the windshield. There is rust along the top edge of the windshield and I was wondering if this may be a factory defective weak area and if anyone else has had this problem??? If this is a common problem then has Nissan warranted any repairs???

Rust like that isn't a common problem on Xterras. I don't think I've heard anyone talk about rust along the top of the windshield. Check your manual, I think the Xterra comes with a 7yr, 75k mile rust warranty. The dealer may still be able to help you out. Welcome to the club.
