I watched some show that described that some people who underwent the tounge splitting can now independently control each side. (one side goes up, the other side goes down) The side effects are that the person ends up with a lisp for awhile. With practice, the lisp usually goes away.

What are the benefits? I guess it makes sexual encounters more interesting.
