I think what Carlton did was perfectly fine. Driving 101 says 1 car lenght for every 10 MPH. The conditions Carlton describes he (BMW) should have been at least 6 lenghts IMHO, no matter what you drive or your driving skill.
Really on a peasonal note. What the hell is with H2s now! In my area they are tailgating like crazy here. These assholes think they are god-like driving these things!
