Yes.. But can I expect others on a busy road to do the same? Should I stop traffic and cause a hazard to allow someone who is driving in an unsafe manner to make an illegal pass on a two lane road? I was in no danger of being hurt so I guess that I am lucky, I was paying attention to the road. But that is not luck.
