I just thought about that...
Dude spent 10k on his Xterra. Assuming he spent ~$25k on the thing new, that's ~$35k for what is, at the end of the day, still an Xterra. No offense, I loved my Xterra, but for ~$35k he'd have been better off with a nice Xterra and a built Jeep, and had better on-road and off-road performance in both.
I spent $10.5k on my entire truck, and it's got locked diffs, solid front axle, and plenty of flex. I'd be willing to bet that it could keep up pretty well with a $35k Xterra. Barring driver incompetence, of course... :rolleyes:
