The fraud that you speak of : High profile public case involving the city , the press , and a lot of public outcry.

I think you're being a bit dramatic. This is a small fraction of the universe with a few thousand members and possible a few hundred active ones. A majority of the active ones are pretty femiliar with each other through either personal contact or from this site.

Not quite random people who are relatively femiliar with each other snickering among themselves is a far cry from a semi-respected public figure trying to stir up a riot with false acusations.

And try to remember that this IS the internet. What's the rule again? Believe half of what you see , 20% of what you read and 10% of what you hear.
