THATS MORE LIKE IT! I can smell the testosterone coming off the board [Finger] As a former Montero enthusiast(ok, I still am also, but they are no longer made) I still remember when after decades the introduced a 4x2, and how bewildered everyone was. It was not more then a year or two after before the board was flooded with "why did I make that mistake" or " No one will buy my used 4x2 suv" or "how do I convert to 4x4". Even a Subaru is 4wd, and it does not go off-road. I think there should be no 4x2 suvs, for brand image, and no open rear diff trucks, also for image of the line. Bottom line, if you dont need a 4x4, get something more compatable, with better gas milage. Dont think a 4x2 will handle your " light duty" wheeling, because that will get you stuck. You quickly learn without that 2,000.00 or about 35.00/ month for 60 months, that no front tire turning means no go under the most light duty conditions. Not only that, the truck goes from being an incredible highway/ snow cruiser, to a dangerous rear wheel drive vehicle. Makes no sense. Sorry to insult 4x2 owners, but this is how most here will see it. Everyone makes mistakes laugh Except me of course [Spit]
