... i think what my associate is trying to say here is; Is it really necessary for the rear tire to be jacked off the ground in order to install sliders? ...not to mention the Plethora of tools...

Jacks? Logs? Bah! "I'll hold the slider, your do the bolts." The rear bumper? Did it myself, in the dark........barefoot, going uphill in 6 inches of snow. Ya, thats the ticket!
Hey, that's my husbands way of doing it without any help, cause I wasn't home, which even if I was, I wouldn't be able to help hold up the sliders. Besides, when you are 6'5 having things up higher is nice for him.

Now, the tools...he ALWAYS has way more tools than needed.
