Got this X the other day. Took it out today.

got some work to do on her. I'm seriously concidering the Calmini tcase gears, I wasn't happy with the crawl capability. (I'm used to 4:1 in my jeep) Also gotta get a new front drive shaft. That one is way to short and slips apart when i flex it out good.

She has a SAS with Locked D60 front and Locked Sterling 10.25 rear, 5:13 gears in both.. Looking forward to wheeling the X more. Its got a unique look on the trail than a jeep thats for sure.

It is Kenetics old rig. He live about 20 miles from me and had it setting on the side of the road forsale. The exo was removed by him. He said it wasn't sound enough to serve a real purpose. If it had a roof rack i couldn't put it in my garage and i live in a restricted neighborhood so i'm kinda thankfull it doesn't smile

Yes it does. Kinetic told me some of the story. I'm hoping the bad luck doesn't follow it. I got it for a song so even if have to redo all the craftsmanship it will still be worth it.

Wow... hard to believe someone would get that extreme with a rig and not have put in the tcase gears at some point.

Automotive Customizers (4x4parts.com) makes a set now, too at 3.7:1 - though the Calmini 3.98:1 are tried and true... and slightly lower.

Let's just say that the previous owner had an unfortunate experience with a rather questionable vendor.

The tire carrier fell off on the interstate. Wouldn't that be something. See a 37" bogger with some steel attached bouncing down the highway.

I will check the other gears. Also gotta get a longer front driveshaft. I flexed it out on the trail and seperated the one on it.

It will be a bad rig when its all fixed
