I notice that the way the hi-lift is mounted looks the same as how mine was set up. The weight of the jack not being firmly set on the carrier eventually caused the metal of the top brace to bend on mine. Here\'s the write-up.

I moved the bolt (at the green pointer line) to the top of the jack base, which brought the jack to settle flat on the carrier. By doing that, it also secured the jack tighter to the carrier.

The picture looks a little painful without any rear armor underneath. wink

Really nice truck and picture! Oh, I already said that, huh. smile

Thanks laugh
As for the jack, yeah it's annoying, and it worries me on occasion. The other thing I have thought of was to add some washers to the bolt to in essence make the platform that the jack base is sitting on high enough to not have that upper brace bend. (I clicked on your link and all I got was a photo, no write up...)

Thanks again for the compliments, it's always a nice ego boost, but I am running a full set of Shrock skids under there, and waiting on the diff skid from Calmini to finish off my armor needs...except a replacement front bumper from Shrock, but I don't have the cash to order it quite yet wink
