MT vs AT

ok I have a quick question. I know that the all terrain tire is probably lasts longer, but how much longer than a mud tire??? I like the long lasting BF AT KO, but I like the look of the Mud terrain tire (or any mud terrain for that matter). I do some moderate wheeling, but nothing too adventerous, mostly snow and some forest stuff. So the million dollar question......what is the mileage difference in a MT and an AT????

In general, the AT's lastlonger, but its just not apples and apples, as some MT's can last longer than some AT's, etc.
Lets say for calibration that if my BFG AT ko's last 75K, my BFG MT's might last 30-40K.
A set of Interco TrXus MT might go about 20-25K.
A GY MT/R might go 40-50K.

I hate to sound like an ass, but I hate it when people buy tires or anything because "they look better!" Both those tires are great, but the A/T seems far better suited to your use. M/T's are really only good for, well, mud. The A/T will run circles around it in terms of onroad ride comfort, traction, handling, etc.; especially in the rain, plus it's better in snow and possibly better on dry trails.
But, if you want worse gas mileage, worse ride, shorter tire life, and reduced handling/braking, then go ahead and get the M/T.
