I used to be a cop in PA, by law, your tires are not allowed to stick out AT ALL beyond your fenders! You will, however, see plenty of vehicles on the road in violation of this. I talked to a guy at a shop one time who said that a lot of inspection places will pass the vehicle as long as the tires are not sticking out too much (like and inch or so). Regardless, if you get a very bored or maniacal cop behind you, or if its 2AM on a weekend and they're hunting for DUIs, watch out, it would be a legal traffic stop.

Dude, I live in pa, i've seen almost 3" of tire sticking out....ALL THE TIME!!! I had a cop pull me over in my chevy "street racing" and told me to get legal tires....but he also called me an asshole. But yeah, flares are the way to go. Did you know light bars are also illegal even with the covers on?

By the way, any issues with running 15x8 vs. 15x7 rims? Would 15x7 work with the 32" AT's?

---

Thanks for all the input, and quick replies!

Here is a shot of the "Command Unit" with the new 3" lift rock crawler rims and BFG AT's...

and a shot of the rubbing issue (I don't have it turned all the way in this shot, but you can see the problem here)...

I'll check the torsion bars first, then if needed try the 4.75 vs. 3.75 and hope no rubbing occurs.

Thanks again!

(Command Unit) Dan
