my CD player randomly stopped working. Radio works fine, but everytime I load a CD I get a couple of clicking sounds and then an error message.
Mine did exactly the same (in a '00)... great radio but no CD action, the screen read error. I asked around for help at the usual car stereo places and but I ended up just putting in a Alpine some-thing-or-other. The old one didn't seem worth the hassel. I still have the old one so if someone knows how to fix it, you can have mine.
