I've got a 2kX and a long time ago my extra power points all failed - at once. The primary one works fine.

I checked the fuses a few hundred times since then, they seem fine.

So I'm thinking a wire somewhere shorted out... ???

Can anyone offer some good places look? I've been reading the forum and saw that the power-points-always-work mod required jumping a blue wire above the parking break so I was gonna poke up and around in there a bit to see what I can see... but really, I'm rather clueless.

If you had a short, you would have a blown fuse. Did you look at the fuse box in the engine compartment? Im pretty sure that where the fuse is for the rear power sockets
