There was a reminder from the Chief of the Department that were are only allowed "...one rotating, oscilating, or flashing light with a blue lens or filter not to exceed 36 candle power..." (per NYS Vehicle & Traffic code sec. # 100). WHATEVER! A dinky Dash Laser halogen rotator is 60,000 CP. I think it was just a formality from the department. That way the individual with the lights in their vehicle is the only responsible party. (Red rear facing strobes)
