Need help! I was installing my new KC's and wanted them activated only with headlights. I wired the new switch according to KC's instructions. I am an idiot and did not check the new switches wiring which of course was different. So, I blew the headlight I was tapping off. The bulb looks good and I find no fuse???? Is there a fuseable link or did I really fry something?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Sorry, I can't help you with any wiring problems...when it comes to electrics, I'm the worng person to ask...I have problems plugging in appliances!!!!! BUT, I was curious what kind of KC's are you using, where are they mounted, and why do you want them to come on with your headlights??

Rich, I have Hella fogs on the Waag that only work with the parking lights or headlights. On the top bar I have 4 KC's. One pair (center two) could be activated anytime lights or engine will not have to be on. For the campsite or such. The other pair (outer two) will only come on if the headlights are on. I guess I just did not believe I would need all of them all of the time or maybe I'm just being anal.
This of course if I get them working...

There are 2 fuse locations. One is over your left leg on the driver's side. The other is under the hood in a black box I believe on the passenger side. I think the headlight fuse is under the hood.

Rumpy, that was it the under hood fuse box. Now that you mentioned it I rememberd it. I actually thought it might be but then thought it was just relays.
Fixed and all works fine THANKS...
As requested you get a low rating

What is your secret? Am I not being abrasive enough? Do I need to start topics like "Why an Astek is better than an X" or "I like to smoke, litter, dump my oil in the storm drain, and cut down trees to make shortcuts so I can get to the mall faster?"
