Cross over in door = bad idea. Weather, pounding of door being slamed etc.

Look at my crappy picture. Its aginst the drivers side front quarter panel up under the dash. There was a bit of bare metal I mounted them. Kind of a pain in the arse to do it but it turned out very good. Out of site and out of mind, and not in the door. It may not work if you have anthing but an 05 X.
