OK I finally bought a clinometer and I am gonna install it next week. Does anyone know the color of the Dash Light wire so I can tap the clinometer into it. HELP.

The wire colors are Pink/Black and Blue/Red. Where are you going to mount it? If you want the clinometer to dim with the dimmer switch you must use both wires!!! In the auto these wires are available under the center console and in all vehicles are available in the dash behind the radio. Anywhere there are lights that dim with the dimmer you will find those two wires. Use T-Taps to make quick connections. I use these wires in all my LED CoolKits...

cool... I was at Radio Shack and bought some LEDs to play with.... fasioned a nice little light with a pushbutton on off switch. (Hey, I'm a beginner...) and was thinking of doing some Coolerman type things, more as a learning about electronics type thing, I figure I have a lot to learn... especially soldering....

Anyway, T taps.... do they just snap onto the other wire? That's most excellent...

It's not that I don't wanna buy your kits, I'm broke, don't have a job, and I have a LOT of time on me hands.... and a dremel, soldering iron, and a couple of testers that I don't have a clue how to use....

Damn art majors...
