Like I stated above, if you decide to get one amp to push both, get one that puts out the 1500w at 2 ohm MONO.

Just because an amp says 1500w at 2ohm, that does not mean 2 ohm mono. Mono and stereo are completely different loads on an amp and will result in your amp blowing up if not done correctly.

It is quite difficult to find a 2-ohm mono, 1500 RMS watt amp.. Hell, JL's biggest amp is the 1000/1, which is 1000w from 1.5-4 ohms and it is also $1000, not to mention it draws 100A of current which will shut down most stock Xterra electrical systems.

Because of all of the above, that is why I suggested (2) amps with reasonable power at 4 ohm mono a piece.
