I wish I would be fast enough to count in milliseconds

I built a gadget that generates a horn pulse for lock and unlock button for after market unit using a PIC chip. This chip has to be programmed to turn on the horn relay for a certain number of milliseconds so that the horn will go off for that short duration.

I already tried 500, 250 and 125 milli-seconds. It keeps getting shorter but don't seem to get close to the stock timing yet. I will eventually get it by trial and error but it will help if someone knows the exact timing.
