ive got the firestik II mounted on my shrock bumper. i didnt see a hole in there for an antenna, so i drilled my own. anyways, here is where i mounted mine.





ive been told that mounting it on the passenger side is not the best for reception., but i also didnt want it in my direct sight either. it works on the trail most importantly, and i have had reception for alteast one mile away. good enough for me.
