I am very happy with it. Sounds great, looks great... the only problem i am having is i cant figure out how to keep the screen from switching from back light, to regular light every ten seconds... anyone know? i cant find it in the manual...

mmmmm,there is no demo mode on that unit,what is it,a DEH-P4600? of 5600?

did you hook up the orange wire on the pioneer?,

if so,try disconnecting it and see what happens,because there is no setting in the menu for what you are seeing.

also,where did you get ground for the pioneer from,because if you used a metra harness adaptor,nissan does not put ground in the radio harness,and the black wire on the metra harness is dead,you need to get ground from metal in the console area somewhere.

It is a Pioneer DEH-P7600MP.

It has a demo mode... I used a wiring harness, cant remember what type, but all the wires were connected... there was one, that they looped back to itself, is that the one that should be grounded? Does the demo mode change anything?

I have a Pioneer, and I like that feature. Before I had this one I had another just like it, but I didn't put that back light thing. The time and "CD" burnt into the display.

Anyway, to remove it, shut it off by holding SOURCE. Press the 5 or 6 key. I think 6 is demo, 5 is reverse. Also, you can hold down the 2 key and get a menu of features.
