Hey guys, I am driving an '03 SC atomic orange X, and lovin it. However It is cold in Canada now (-24c) and the X blows very hot air. My problem is that the passanger side isn't blowing correctly. The passenger dash vent blows hot but slower then the reset of the vents, and the passanger foot blower is blowing only cold air. Also, it doesnt matter what setting the controler is on(def. vent. etc) the foot blower seems to blow all the time.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
mark

Hi Mark D,

Not sure where the problem is. But if you check the diagram below, it shows where the air discharge ports are and where the intake ports are. You can start by checking if the cold air is coming from and what part of the system it is associated to. Then it will be matter of finding which trap door is opened that should be closed.

Either I am looking in the wrong spot, or there is something wrong with my internet settings cause I still don't see anything

I tried on a different computer and see it there too. It's on my original post.

I bought the X 2 months ago, I ended up taking it back to the dealer I bought it from. They said it was a disconnected vaccuum hose under the dash. They figure it was probly like that when I bought it from them, which I agree, so they fixed it for free.

That's good they fixed it for you. Even if the factory warranty is over, typically dealers have a small grace period on used vehicles where they will fix things for free that should be expected to work properly when sold.

Makes sense that is was a vacuum hose since all the doors that control where the air goes are controlled by vacuum hoses.
