One of the first mods I will make to my X will be to put a ham radio in it. It's the primary means of communication among hang gliders, so it's a must for me as a pilot.
I notice that FRS seems to be the mode of choice, at least with XOC'ers. I won't preach about the advantages of 2 meter Ham (there are many), but I am curious about the ratio of Ham radio vs. FRS, and why FRS seems to be the popular band.
