Microsoft (and Sony and Nintendo) clearly state that an Xbox cannot be tampered with. They own the software on it, and all the games you buy, you are simply licensing them. By modifying it, you are violating the license agreement you agreed to by opening the package.

Copying any Xbox, PS2 or Nintendo software (or backing them up) is a violation of the licenses covering those products and is also illegal.

Argue about it all day long if you want, but these are facts. Dolemite, I don't know which software company you work for, but they need to hire a new legal department.
