You only paid $750 for that thing? Awesome deal. I think I'm gonna have to find me one, since my wifes Grandfather died his Double Garage and plethora (Love that word) of tools & gear are laying waste.

I have a couple of thousand coming from the House refinance and want to get Off Road with somethin. A little upside down in the X to think about replacing that for a while with a 4x4 version.

That's the 4 Cylinder you have correct?

Yeah, it was $750. ( On eBay )

152 ci slant 4-cyl, T-90 3-sp tranny (works, but needs attention soon), twin stick transfer case, manual hubs, very little rust. Front brakes/hubs were completely rebuilt/repacked - I just finished the rear with $100 for parts. laugh

So the refi went okay then? Sweet! [ThumbsUp] (damn appraisers make it hard - disclaimer: if anyone reading this is an appraiser, I don't want your job. wink )

As Travis is out on the road right now and I'm meeting up with him a little later, anybody know what he drinks? Gotta give him something for donating a couple tires to me. smile

No - Not at all. We're still dealing with the dumbass appraiser and the Swimming pool. For some strange reason he told Ditech that the pool couldn't be filled with water, so they said it needs to be fenced - Which it is.

I told them yesterday that the damn pool has been full for 2 weeks and to send the dumbass appaiser out and he can take his photos or whatever he needs to do. That should be the final step, they've done the employment verification stuff etc. Very frustrating experience, we decided to screw fixing the pool, we're either going to get it filled over, or get our carpenter friend to build a deck that covers it. $14,000+ is alot of money to blow on fixing the damn thing. So I get a cheap 4x4 vehicle and the rest of the money is being put into replacing the kitchen etc.

[Uh Oh !] ...doh...sorry to hear that. Yeah, sometimes it can be a pain in the ass... Hope they get their crap together and finish it up soon.

The final straw today. So fed up with the crap that Ditech have given me. I called them today and asked them exactly what they needed from me in order to process this loan. They advised that I needed to build a new chainlink fence around the pool, or cover the pool with a pool cover. The pool already has a perfectly acceptable steel pool fence.

I told them it wouldn't be possible for me to build a 'Chainlink' fence, which firstly is not up to code in the City of Mesa and provides my kid with a perfectly good climbing frame to access the pool area.

So they declined the loan.

Insane - Can't say I'd reccomend Ditech if you are thinking about refinancing your home.

Damn... That sucks! [ThumbsDown]

If you need any names of other lenders to try give me a shout, I have a couple. (When you're ready, of course - I know that's probably a big letdown at the moment...and pretty frustrating to say the least.)

FYI, I still have your search setup from the MLS - I'll keep it just in case you want to have me re-run some numbers. Takes about two minutes to generate a report. [ThumbsUp]

I've got Countrywide on the case. You can email me the info on other lenders you work with tho and I will also contact them. If ya don't still have my email address then PM me the info if you have it handy.

Many thanks dude. I still owe you some lunch or a Beer for helping with that MLS stuff. I'd like to checkout that Scout sometime too, I've been keeping an eye on Ebay for one of my very own. Not many 4 cylinders around - I don't think I'd like to get to involved with the V8.
