As some of you are aware, I work at GoDaddy.com. Plus I run my own Hosting Reselling business on the side. So if it's hosting you need, I'd be glad to hook the club up with an account. I could spare about 500Mb of Disk Space with 10Gb monthly bandwidth (Max). Email accounts share the hosting space. Let me know if you want something setup. That can be my donation to the club.

You guys I'm thinking BIG! I just found a provider that provides 10GB of Storage, 200GB Bandwidth with 5,000 email address all for $5 a month when you buy a year. I definetly think a change is in order and we should have our ducks lined up for the March Meeting. We can also create sandboxes for video and pics so people can upload their own and have their own sections, etc.

I was talking 500Mb FREE on my offer. That sounds like a little to good a deal for $5.00 a month, would like to test their reliability.

there are bound to be bandwidth issues.... are the connected to a large pipe or are they sitting on the end of dinky little t1 or worse cable connection?

I just signed up my site and I'll do some testing to find out what their issues. It sounds like a good company so far. Here's their speel "Too often providers operate their networks at three to four times their capacity. As a result, their transfer times reach over 200ms. xxx's network daily average is 40% of its capacity, with midday peak spikes reaching only 60% capacity. xxx guarantees that clients will be carried off our network in less than 50ms over a five-minute average at any given time."

Who are these pathetically cheap people? I'd like to see if there is any info out there about them. Post their Addy, or PM me if for some reason you don't want to tell everyone.

Ok, i tested it out for ya. Its workin great for me! my Transfer Rate was about 510KB/sec.
Much much better!... now the files said they would only take 4min! Good Fix'n Tomas
