Tremor...what is the deal with the site? The original desing idea you posted was fresh and looked nice.. The design you went live (or semi-live) with is not. We don't need a blog for a site... The new site is not nearly as friendly to navigate, not to mention you have not updated or finished moving all components over to the new site.

What is the deal? Anyone else have any thoughts on this...

Sorry, Tremor I used to get all the crap about the site when I was maintaining it....

I like the forum- I didn't evern realize we had one until now.

Where is the member list page? I can't seem to find one. That and the Xcursion list and Pictures pages need some updating.

Oh yeah- and when will the new "non-wheelie" AZXC stickers be done?

The current one got laughed at so much that I just took it off.

It's a pain in the ass. I had some 'help' that basically disappered in the middle of working on it and as such I'm basically stuck. Now I'm trying to find some kind of reference to be able to make nuke actually work... unfortunately there's not a lot of reference out there since it's open source (ugh). There's not nearly as much functionality as there should be and things keep breaking (ie, the photo gallery mysteriously stops working every couple of weeks and I have to go through and chmod all of the image directories manually).

My .02-

Don't know what a blog is but I'd have to agree the other format seemed easier to get around..

Although I don't currently have the ability to upload pics and Video to the site,(my lack of technology/equipment, not yours) I don't see anyone else sharing so I'll assume that function is inoperable, like the "vote for the next Xcursion" poll.

Between the two sites lies a happy-place yet to be constructed. I believe Tremor can re-tool the site so all parties involved are sated. Tie the two together, get the new functions up and running, include the revised logo and we'll have a damned fine, easy to operate, and most important, a fun website to visit. [Smoking]
