There is already over 2200 lbs on the real axle, what do you think 10% more is going to do?? in a pickup with 700 lbs on the rear axle, 200 lbs does wonders.. but in our trucks?? for the record, you have ~170 lbs difference in fuel in the tank between full & fumes.. tires are far more important then a little ballast.. Skidplates or a rear tire carrier would do the same job, and be useful..
