Phew! Glad to hear that you'll be keeping the X around. laugh The only drawback to the clearance issue is the likelihood of rollover if you swerve to avoid something. The VDC works great but at freeway speeds I'd hope I never need it.

I'm like you and expect to keep my X around a very long time and also hope that the rear Diff doesn't go poo in another 24K Miles. If it does I'm covered, but who needs the hassle especially if you're in the middle of nowhere!
