I heard the centipedes are known to crawl into childrens mouths while they sleep. they are attracted to the warmth. thats pretty scary. imagine waking up with one of things crawling around in your mouth.

that should add to the nightmares....

I was more worried about the huge tiger shark population kona has. i spent most of my time in the water. i love sharks, but man, they scare the shit out of me. i dont know if you surf or not, but i heard there is an old tiger shark that lives at Banyans...never bothered anybody and can be seen swimming around from time to time.
