Why is GOX a special thing? It was most likely the first large (NATIONAL) Gathering Of Xterras held in July of 2000, which was before most people had bought their Xterras. I made it into Ouray that weekend 1 week after purchasing my truck. Many of the people who attended have gone on to have a significant impact on our ability to modify our trucks, both in sources of parts and mainly in the ability of owners to share information.

I'm not sure that I can agree with Olegkha on the above statement. Unless we recently lost California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, we are not on the West Coast. I know that the East Coast, especially NY and NJ think that they are the center of the country, but the center is much further west.
